Throughout my career I hired countless number of junior and senior resources. When you look for a senior resource screening process is rather simple, they need to have the technical/functional expertise you are looking for first and then comes the cultural fit.
However when you are looking for junior candidates the screening process is not as straightforward. So what are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. We believe technical and functional expertise can be achieved eventually if and only if the candidate has the right attitude and eagerness.
It is extremely important for candidates to show their enthusiasm during job interviews. Make sure you are willing, eager, happy to take on new responsibilities and learn new skills. In a competitive market your attitude will take you in front of the competition
